This is a weird combo that can only be done if you hit your opponent with a heavy kick the very second he jumps away. That being said, it's not something that will ever come up really. I will say that you can include a 3rd repetition of that punch -> spear bit but it's timing is bizarre and I could never get it, I think it's better to do the consistent version which is this. Important thing to note is you do need to attack the moment you leave the ground to link that attack together into Shenlong's amazingly satisfying dragon throw.
I notice that after the blue gundam is thrown, he stays on the ground for a long time allowing you to slide-kick into him. Is this because of the throw or is it because you're only controlling one gundam?
ReplyDeleteIt is not because I am only controlling one actually. This is before being able to tech your landings was common place (Though there are always conditions where you can't tech out in those games) and as such, you are literally stuck on the ground for the long haul. It's kind of silly and thankfully, all of the future battle assault games allow you to boost off the ground but this one sadly does not. SNES days!
